#WooWho: “When I was nine, my family moved from the small island town of Ketchikan, Alaska to Geneva, Switzerland. My parents wanted to expose me to the world, so every day I commuted to class at ecolintgeneva, where my classmates came from every corner of the world. When you’re exposed to the world like that at a young age, your thought processes toward international issues form differently and you see the world through a more global lens. When I started high school at lakeside.lions in Seattle, I kept being exposed to that through the school’s diversity of classes and students, and from speakers like Dr. Paul Farmer. On my first day at Harvard, I was able sit in on a class taught by Dr. Farmer, and within 30 minutes, I was rearranging my entire class plan to add as many classes on global health and international development as I could.
