The Higher Achievement Program took a road trip today to our Stransky Memorial Athletic Complex for an exciting and fun-filled HAP Field Day. Coppola Family Fields that are home to the CHS Baseball program hosted kickball while football and soccer were held on Koessler Field. Rising eighth-graders from across Western New York are 2-1/2 weeks through their four-week multifaceted HAP experience of academics, athletics and more. On Tuesday, participants took a practice version of the Scholarship and Entrance Exam. Participants take classes in reading, English and math and compete in team sports and other activities with their homerooms – all of which are named after Jesuit colleges. HAP teachers are current and former teachers as well as alumni while they are assisted by a large group of current Crusaders. Our Best. Summer. Ever. program continue...
