Stop turning your head to the side to watch your lifts in the mirror! 🛑 It’s okay to glance to check your form, but don’t watch the whole time especially when you’re lifting heavy. When the head turns, the spine usually turns. When lifting weights this is not usually a good idea. Instead, keep the head in a neutral position in line with the spine. Learn to “feel the form” by increasing your awareness of what good form feels like so you don’t even need to look. In the meantime, film yourself and watch it back to check your form or ask a trainer to help if you’re not sure what you’re looking for!☺️ Is this something you need to work on?? Comment below!
