Despite a scary prognosis, Bernie Kosar is feeling better than he has in months — thanks to his holistic regimen, he says. But liver disease can be unpredictable, says University Hospitals hepatologist Dr. Anthony Post. “The thing about chronic liver disease is that people can get very sick very quickly,” says Post. “Some people need a transplant right away. Others have a fluctuating course. But eventually, they’re going to need a transplant either way. Bernie seems to have a fluctuating course as opposed to somebody with a downward spiral. When I first saw him, it looked like he was just gonna go downward and wasn’t going to survive a year, but he seems to have kind of come back nicely.” 🔗Read more about Bernie Kosar’s treatment for liver disease and Parkinson’s at the link in bio or clevelandmagazine.com. 🖊dilstew 📸 AP Photo/Doug Benc, kevinkopanski, assisted by Matthew Nunes #clevelandbrowns #clevelandohio #berniekosar berniekosarofficial
