On the 3rd of February 2023 Football Federation Australia put put a notice for all football clubs in Australia to put in Applications of interest for a Second Division. This League is designed to create more competition for professional clubs & Player Development. When the deadline came on the 6th of March 2023, one club for us stood out amongst the usual suspects we were expecting to apply from the NPL, was a club based in the heartland of Sydney’s Inner West City and that was Fraser Park. A club based in Marrickville/Sydenham founded by Portuguese Migrants that has somewhat always been in the shadow of the APIA’s and Olympics. But one thing this club has, that might be different is the location of the club and that they’re unknown entity unlike Olympic and APIA.
