This @36daysoftype couldn’t be more appropriate for the upcoming Euro’s to commemorate a Parallel Universe in the Summer of 1992. If you are aware Yugoslavia had qualified for the 1992 European Championships ahead of Denmark (you getting the jist of what’s happening) but due to the political unrest and split various Yugoslavian states (including Croatia who had a massive chunk of the squad that would compete), athletes of all sports couldn’t compete under the Name Yugoslavia due to a United Nations Security vote to ban all engagement in any way with The Republic of Yugoslavia in trade, travel, exchange, culture & of course sport. This forced Yugoslavia to pull of Euro 92 to make way for Denmark who ended performing one of the biggest shocks Football has seen by winning the whole tournament.
