Scrolling through the @optussport app I couldn’t help but click on Malta play Gibraltar in a friendly between two Mediterranean underdog nations who both have histories of being over occupied Islands by Powerful Empires. Unfortunately Gibraltar didn’t live to their famed “Rock of Gibraltar” defence as they went down to the Maltese 2-0 but the enthusiasm of this match was like watching a Euro or World Cup.
