3 Years Ago on Friday the world lost one of the greats of Football. If you were a football supporter in Australia growing up in the 1980’s to the early 2000’s, Les Murray was the face you’d see on the Screens of SBS Television. He was an ambassador for the sport by pretty much investing his entire time and energy into his work for SBS which was the only place you could find any football on Australian Television at the time. His work showed the country what football can provide for many people that the football codes couldn’t, an education of many Cultures and Backgrounds (a mastery of Phonetics might I add.)
