Decades of studies document the ways that exposure to the natural world supports children’s' well-being. In the midst of the pandemic, nature-rich experiences are more necessary than ever for the social, physical, and emotional health of youth. Youth gardens get kids outside and provide much-needed sensory stimuli to help kids calm their minds and bodies. Each year thousands of programs apply to KidsGardening for support growing and maintaining their youth gardens. We're proud to be able to award grants to nearly 230 programs annually, but we know there's so much more we can do. Will you help?
