Walla Walla Farm to School, in partnership with Triple Point, is excited to collaborate with LGBTQ+ youth to create "a safe space to express themselves." In their new garden space, youth are "encouraged to experiment and grow what interests them. There is not one way to garden, just as there is not one way to exist or live." This program will help both WWVF2S and Triple Point "support and engage our often invisible and apprehensive LGBTQIA+ youth in an outdoor space, provide opportunities for ownership and pride, and share life lessons." We can't wait to watch their garden program grow and support the LGBTQ+ youth they serve!
