The RedCloudIndianSchool (Maȟpíya Lúta Owáyawa) in the Pine Ridge, SD is dedicated to helping Oglala Lakota youth reclaim the traditional Lakȟóta language. While Red Cloud’s youngest learners participate in a full language immersion program, other students have the opportunity to practice Lakȟóta in the garden.
