The 2021 #BuddingBotanist Grant is now open! This year, with the support of KloraneUSA we're awarding fifteen high needs K-12 schools $1200 award packages! If you'll be using a garden to teach students about environmental sustainability and the importance of biodiversity, whether in person on remotely, we want to hear from you! In addition to expanding or creating new school gardens, applications that propose projects focused on the creation of virtual garden-based learning opportunities or take-home gardening kits to better serve students engaged in remote learning are encouraged and accepted.
