1) Multi-tiered Support - success is directly related to excitement and support from constituents in all areas - teachers, parents, staff, etc.
2) Creative Collaboration - establish traditional and nontraditional relationships within your school and community. Funds can be received from community organizations and cooking carts can be established by collaboration between food service and curriculum departments.
3) Secure Funding - it's much easier to create a successful program when you have a secure financial position. Key to many farm to school programs is financial support from a school that has prioritized your program in its budget.
