Our garden educator in Texas is thrilled that the temperature dropped below 90 (...our staff in Vermont are showing up to work with winter hats). Pictured here is the start of the annual Sugar Snap Pea races - one of the many ways Sarah keeps students engaged in school gardens. Students are split into teams and each team plants their peas at the base of a class teepee. The team whose plant gets to the top first wins a small prize!
