One of the things we love about school gardens is how they can bring together a community. We joined this incredible group of volunteers of all ages from Parts Town and the school community this past weekend to build a garden at Oakbrook School. Lots of new hands-on learning opportunities for these K-2 students! What did we accomplish? Built 6 garden beds, assembled 3 composting bins, built 12 benches, assembled a shed, installed a fence, planted a pollinator garden, and spruced up perennial spaces 💚 #kidsgardening #gardenbuild #schoolgarden #classroomgarden #handsonlearning #community
