A few social media users are questioning photos of corn growing in unusual places in Greenfield, but one Iowa State University researcher says what's being documented can occur. The Iowa-centric social media account iowachill first posted images taken by Greenfield resident Wendi Lane. Lane photographed and posted on her social media what appeared to be cornstalks growing in unusual spots in the southwestern Iowa town.
