I could not have chosen a better business community than Philadelphia 🔔 Lately, about half of my week is spent at networking events throughout the city. Which is something that would terrify my 22-year-old self if she knew that would be her job. But the 28-year-old version of me absolutely loves it. Once I stopped seeing networking as a sales tool, everything changed. No one wants to be sold to – especially when you're standing in front of them talking about themselves when all they can think about is how they're going to eat the snacks they just grabbed while holding a glass of wine in their hands and planning what to say about themselves the second you stop talking.
