“As a grandchild of Caribbean immigrants on my father’s side and mixed American Indian, Caucasian and Black on my mother’s side, Black History Month has a special significance within my immediate and extended family. It’s a celebration of culture; honoring where we came from, how far we’ve come and where we’re going. Being authentic and honest while sharing our experiences with compassion to gain understanding. Since the inception of the Broncos Cheerleaders Program in 1993 in which I was a charter member, the Denver Broncos Organization has been focused on diversity, providing a sense of belonging and inclusion from ownership, the front office and support staff. It continues today as I see the progression of our legacy with cheerleaders from various ethnicities reflecting our diverse American culture.” Happy #BlackHistoryMonth!” - #DBCAlumni Tameka Queeley Kueser
