In #WadiRum, I felt like I was in a spaceship speeding along Martian territory in another world. Zipping around our toyotajo Land Cruisers, we flew past boulders and massive rocks and cliffs. Where’s Matt Damon? Later that night we’d get stuck in the #Jordan desert (no really, our ride got stuck in the sand) and earn the chance to stargaze. That was the first time I’d ever seen the Milky Way so clearly. It was also the first time I got scared by a camel I didn’t see. 🐪 Maybe Matt Damon get scared by camels too. Retracing my steps.
