I spent a morning earlier this week hanging out with some pre-kindergarteners. I was offered eggs, toast, spaghetti, KFC coleslaw and a Mr. Potato Head With No Eyes from the wooden kitchen. I was given a plastic link bracelet that she told me looked "goh-jus" on my wrist. I also found these books on the Pre-K shelf: "The Stories of (St.) Pope John XXIII" and "The Passion and Death of Jesus Christ" with "Marvelous Mammals" and "Squirrels." And I taught two kids to spell their names and my name, then they said my name was ugly. #KidsTheseDays #WhatDoTheyKnow
