"When I was 15, we had a family vacation where we drove in just deadly heat across South Dakota to the Badlands. It was awesome. It was so hot though, really uncomfortable the whole time because we didn't have air conditioning. We stopped at Wall Drug and I got to pick one thing: either a lariat or a bull whip, because I liked Indiana Jones. I went for the lariat, I could actually use it to rope things. We crammed all eight of us into an old Suburban — it was great. It was a really inexpensive vacation, nothing flashy. It seemed more adventurous than it was to go on another family vacation like Disneyland, which is fun, but it's not an adventure. It was an adventure into the Wild West." – fathermikeschmitz #goodiswinning
