First of three final remaining nights in Kraków. Today started off rough but quickly changed when I saw Manila's Cardinal Tagle pull up in front to me in a little black sedan while I was waiting from the crossing signal. I immediately recognized him and just pointed at him, telling my friends who he was, waving like a mad man. He responded generously, waving back with an intense depth of authenticity.

I don't know how I feel, but I'm falling asleep listening to Portuguese and some kind of chant outside window. The weather is cool, and we don't turn on the air-con because we don't have one in the room.
