I think Mother Nature heard me complain about the lack of clouds and gave me some blue sky to appreciate again. Just like this epic sky above me two weeks ago, I'm happy again and I hope you are too. My family suffered a loss last month and I'm flying out to be part of the funeral arrangements. I'm happy to see everyone again, but my heart aches that we're gathering while we are hurting. And now that I'm older (I just realized I fit in that 'twenty-something' category the other day), I hope to be more fully present and embrace my family. Both of my parents have large families and not many, especially immigrant families, have the chance to see everyone, even if we're no longer all in the same stage of life. #storyportrait #goodiswinning #churchhou
