It's 6 days before my birthday and I'm checking my email. Sitting in the inbox are are 15+ emails announcing that I can get free stuff (cake! ice cream! brownie! pasta! fries! donut!) simply because it's my 25th birthday. It's kind of strange to think that I'm entitled to these free things simply because I was born in the USA. I didn't do anything to earn these, I won't have to walk 3 hours to get them, and they make me sick. But in other parts of the world, millions have to make such a more dangerous journey just to get access to drinking water. Water that's not healthy to drink for anyone of any age, let alone children. You might remember that four years ago, I asked for water and not beer for my 21st birthday. With the help of the best people in the world, $1900 went to build a well in Ethiopia.
