Join Trinity (Trin) Hatchett ’25, a rising junior majoring in political science and minoring in sociology, as she takes us through a day in Hiroshima as part of the Trinity Japan Program. From walking at the Fushimi Inari Taisha to reflecting at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial and living with a host family, Trin is one of the 20 Tigers who had the opportunity to connect with different representations of Japanese culture this summer. Trin was always intrigued by the opportunity to study abroad, but she only applied for the Trinity Japan Program after taking global politics and Latin American politics with Katsuo Nishikawa, director of the Center for International Engagement and one of the faculty members leading the trip.
