“This has been the trip of a lifetime; it’s taught me how to deal with life’s upsets in a place where I don’t have familiar support systems,” says Zsa Zsa Dubose ’25, one of the 20 Tigers that took part in this year’s Trinity Japan Program. In this program, students get to explore Japan while taking classes on contemporary Japanese society, business economy, politics, and cultural traditions over six weeks over the summer. Although Zsa Zsa, a business analytics and technology major and theatre minor, admits that she initially committed to the program based on “vibes,” it ended up being a transformative experience for her.
