Ella Charbonnet ’25 wasn’t always planning on going into marketing. But now that she’s declared her major, it makes perfect sense for her.
Ella came to Trinity planning on majoring in biology and quickly realized that it wasn’t for her. As she got to thinking about helping people in a marketing setting, her path became clearer. She had experience with working with companies in high school, but her job at Four Seasons made her realize that she loved having conversations.
“I really loved talking to people, and I couldn’t imagine myself stuck in like a lab or a hospital all day,” Ella says. “I called my parents and I went, ‘I’m switching to marketing.’ And never honestly looked back.”
Ella is also a sociology minor, through which she hopes to better understand consumer behavior and continue her interest in women and gender studies. Her passion for women’s issues comes from lessons she learned from her mom.
