Blaine Martin ’25 has worldly ambitions. As a political science and international studies double major with a minor in Spanish, he plans to use his degrees to go into public policy. One of the things that Blaine appreciates most about his time in college has been the capacity to have difficult conversations with people of different backgrounds and perspectives. At Trinity, he has found ways to help people using these communication skills. “We need to build a culture where everyone feels welcomed and dispel imposter syndrome to make a difference for students here,” he says about his role on campus as an RA. Being able to declare his majors has allowed Blaine to think about other ways to help people globally.
