Abbi Bowen ’20 is an English and Russian double major from Greenville, South Carolina. After graduation, they plan to live at home for a while, spend some quality time with their family’s new puppy, and maybe learn how to make their own clothes!⁣ ⁣ Abbi was a 2019 Mellon Student Undergraduate Research Fellow (SURF) and presented their project, “Selfish Plants and Multispecies Creativity” at the 2020 Humanities Education and Research (HERA) conference in Chicago in early March.
