Melanie Vaughan ’20 is a music education major from San Antonio. This fall, she will enter Trinity’s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program.
Melanie says that some of her proudest accomplishments at Trinity have come from the opportunities she had had to travel abroad and perform alongside her peers.
“I was able to perform in China and Taiwan twice with studio members from (professor) Chia-Wei Lee’s studio, and I also traveled to Austria with the Chamber singers where we performed in St. Stephen’s Cathedral, which was truly an amazing and unforgettable moment. I also was very fortunate to be able to have had my senior recital this past fall, which was one of my proudest moments at Trinity because I got to share music I had worked on for a year with my friends and family.”
