Amani Canada ’20 is an environmental studies and earth systems science double major from Houston, Texas.⁣ ⁣ Over the summer, Amani will work at the Padre Island National Seashore. In the fall, she will attend Texas A&M University in pursuit of a master’s degree in geography.⁣ ⁣ Amani says her proudest accomplishment over the past four years has been becoming more confident in herself. “More and more, I have surprised and impressed myself,” she says. “I am determined to keep that energy going for different spheres of my life.”⁣ ⁣ When asked about what she will miss most about Trinity, Amani says it’s the community and connections she has made.⁣ ⁣ “In addition to my friends and sorority sisters, I’m going to miss the staff and faculty that helped me along the way and were excited to see and talk with me around campus.”⁣ ⁣ #2020TUgether #humansoftrinity #trinityuniversity⁣⁣ ⁣ padreislandnps tamu zetachi_tu
