I am a Studio Art and English double major, and a majority of my work pulls together my art and English disciplines to explore the expectations, pressures, and discomforts surrounding womanhood, specifically in the Evangelical Christian Church. Recently my practice transitioned from oil painting to painted cardboard sculptures of household items. Returning to cardboard sculpture, a practice that I started in my childhood, has been exciting and refreshing.
