Each Halloween, Trinity students may see ghosts of a different kind sprinting across campus, with catcalls and cheers echoing across the first-year quad.
In a tradition that began in 1989, students from Calvert Hall, dubbed the Calvert Ghosts, streak across campus donning nothing but white flour, shaving cream, or baby powder. Though water balloons and other defenses have sometimes been deployed to counteract the Ghosts’ journey, this Trinity tradition brings delight to those expecting it and shock to those who aren’t. 👻
