Academic awards from the United States Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) were announced this week with the University of Redlands Track & Field teams both being recognized along with four individuals. Both the men’s and women’s teams were well ahead of the 3.10 benchmark needed to be recognized as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team with the men posting a 3.26 and the women a 3.52. Additionally, a male student-athlete and three female student-athletes were honored as All-Academic athletes for posting GPAs over a 3.30 and ranking among the Top-50 in an individual event or Top-35 in a relay.
