6 years ago she had no sewing experience, no customer service experience, and had only ever worked at one other job. To see her now in the KaiKini studio you would never know it. . She started out as a “seamstress in training”, doing small but important jobs like trimming off the extra strings and elastic when a suit is done. Then she started attaching straps to triangle tops, then learned how to assemble a reversible bottom….and slowly she worked her way around the sewing room mastering each machine and skill as she went. . When the opportunity arose for her to help me on the other side of the business; customer service, inventory, loading products on the website. She jumped at the chance to help! .
