Don’t you love #ThankfulThursdays 💕 Amidst these strange times, the Spokane youth give us a beacon of light in 2020! Nakoa organized an Eagle Scout project with Troop 208 to donate dog and cat food to the Spokane Humane Society (SHS). His big heart inspired the community to donate 860lbs of pet food and some cash donations (WOW)! The donated pet food will go towards SHS’s Pet Food Bank. This initiative is another life-saving program to help the community and keep pets in their home, rather than having owners relinquish them during hard financial times. Each year our pet food bank is able to distribute more than 35,000 pounds of donated pet food into the community. We cannot thank Nakoa and his troop enough for their pawesomeness!
