A Happy Ending To A Long Story: Koko and Yoda were brought into the shelter together last year. Both were adopted out fairly quickly to separate homes. Unfortunately, due to her separation anxiety, Koko was returned to the shelter then adopted and returned again two more times. She just couldn't find the right fit! Meanwhile, her son Yoda had been doing well in his new home, but due to an unforeseen change in his adopters life, he was also returned to the shelter. This happened to be on the same day as his mom, Koko's last return! Both dogs were extremely happy to be reunited! They loved to get out and play together, and they quickly became a favorite of the staff and volunteers at the shelter! Because Koko seemed to have had such a hard time on her own, we made a decision. It was meant to be! They needed to go home together.
