Make sure to check out our WLEE program, here’s what _idkc has been up to. For the past 9 days I’ve been in an intensive Wilderness First Responder class through NOLS and the Immersion semester. The class includes learning symptoms and treatments for a wide range of medical and traumatic illnesses and injuries as well as other wilderness medicine principles and topics. We went through countless realistic scenarios including one at night in the woods. It was so fun to be a part of these scenarios, especially getting the gory makeup as a patient! Now I am prepared to respond to just about anything that could happen to me or anyone I encounter on my trips! 🏔🥾 #bctornados #brevardcollege #nadonation
