MOTHER’S DAY: Some years are easy breezy and some are not. This year just had me grumpy, irritated and missing you hardcore. Working through it and sifting through photos it’s hit me more and more that the bad years happen around when something really amazing is happening in my life; the year I got married, the year the kids were born, the year I started my business. There’s a list. Often around achievements often feeling bittersweet because you ALWAYS celebrated them in the best ways no matter what was going on in your life. You were my biggest unfiltered cheerleader. Today I realized it’s surrounding the new love I found. Wishing you were here in the physical sense to show all your celebratory emotions through your laugh, screams of joy and the best hugs a 5’3 woman can make! I miss you. I love you. Always.
