Congrats to the Student Athletes of the Week, Stevie Branche and Kirsten Auble! Branche from RIT Baseball was dominant on the hill in game one Friday at Skidmore, a 3-0 win for the Tigers, allowing just two hits, while striking out nine batters for his for second shutout in two weeks and fourth complete game of the 2019 season. He improved to 3-2 with a 1.59 earned run average and 46 strikeouts in 51 innings on the season. Auble from RIT Women's Tennis won two matches on the week for the Tigers, who clinched a Liberty League postseason berth. On Tuesday, she knocked off Grace Klomp of Geneseo, 6-0, 6-0. Saturday, with the match on the line, Auble continued her tremendous first season, earning a three-set win over Marie Bank. Auble took the first set, 6-2 before Bank rallied to win set two, 7-5. Auble found another gear in the final set and rolled to a 6-2 win for her 16th singles win of 2018-19. #RITAOW #TigersPride #RITNews
