Smyth from ritlacrosse continued his tremendous senior season as a dual threat for the Tigers from his long-stick midfield position, recording five points, while recording seven ground balls and causing four turnovers in a 2-0 week. On Wednesday, Smyth dished out three assists to go along with six ground balls and four caused turnovers in an 18-7 win over Ithaca. On Saturday, he scored twice and helped RIT's defense hold Skidmore scorelsss in the second half, as the Tigers rolled to a 20-4 victory. Smyth has 11 goals and 18 points, while chipping in with 49 ground balls and 23 caused turnovers this season. Pizzo from RIT Women's Track and Field cleared 3.42 meters in the pole vault Saturday at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Invitational.
