Meet customer Dan D. from Southern Maryland, a dedicated Factory Five owner with plenty of stories to share about his Mk3 Roadster of 15 years. Dan initially embarked on an ‘86 Mustang restoration project, but unforeseen challenges with the rear crossmember led him to consider other options. One of his friends owned a Factory Five Mk2 Roadster, and told him he could transition his project seamlessly into building a Factory Five. After researching various options, he chose Factory Five for the unparalleled experience of building his own car. The unique stripes on his car are in reference to the Terlingua Racing team in Texas. Dan actively participates in Fun-runs, Cobra club events, and New Year’s Day Cruises, capturing miles of smiles along the way. As a seasoned mechanic in the Air Force with 30 years of service, Dan’s attention to detail shines through in his build.
