Last week we hosted a skate clinic for an amazing group of coaches from Fiji and Tonga! They traveled across the Pacific Ocean to the Bay Area with women_win as part of the ISPI (International Sport Programming Initiative) which aims to provide opportunities for sports-based, people-to-people exchanges that promote values of inclusion. The coaches have backgrounds in soccer, rugby, swimming, ping pong, netball and dancing and many of them represent their countries on their National and Olympic teams. We were NOT surprised when they went from stepping on a board for the first time to pushing and cruising in less than 30 minutes. We love to see folks practice humility and courage and try new things!
