Today is #Blackwomenequalpay Day. “This is the day until which Black women must work in order to earn the same as a white man’s salary at the end of 2019.” It angers me to know that (us) black women are still severely devalued and underpaid. I wish i knew how to quickly fix this systemic issue, but for now I challenge and encourage all black women to self-advocate even more when negotiating contracts, salaries, sponsorships etc...i know i can do this better for myself as well. We can no longer let others dictate our worth. #blackwomencantwait
