In honor of #HospitalWeek, we’re taking a walk through UPMC history. This is a sketch of the proposed University of Pittsburgh Medical Center campus in Oakland. In this sketch are Presbyterian Hospital, Miller Hospital, Children’s Hospital, Falk Clinic, and the Eye & Ear Institute. This was drawn by architect E.P. Mellon of W.L. Smith Associates in the 1920s.
