Our Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (CIRU) Gardening Program at UPMC Western Maryland assists in day-to-day transitional life routines after a patient has suffered a life-changing event. Patients plant and maintain a garden on the UPMC Western Maryland campus to help regain their strength and functional skills.
