According to a recent study released by the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, there is no place in America where someone working full-time at the minimum wage can afford housing, healthcare, food, and other essentials. By raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour, this would immediately put an estimated $328 billion into the economy.
