#OnThisDay in 1965, about 2,500 people marched from the headquarters of CORE (Congress of Racial Equality) to the county courthouse in protest of the police brutalities in Selma. After #BloodySunday, protests similar to this took place throughout the nation to show support of the marchers who walked across the Edmund Pettus Bridge.
