🎞️ 🎬 Spike Lee’s “4 Little Girls” documentary on the senseless tragedy of the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham Alabama led to the reopening of the case in the late 1990’s. Robert “Dynamite Bob” Chambliss was convicted in 1977 and died in 1985. Eventually in 2001 and 2002, two Klansmen, Thomas Blanton Jr, and Bobby Frank Cherry were convicted of their roles in the bombing.
