Civil rights icon James Meredith was PeabodyMemphis today as an honorary Duck Master. We are grateful for his courage to integrate OleMiss in October 1962 & his Walk Against Fear from Memphis to Jackson, MS in 1966. Meredith is still on a mission for racial equality and took time for a photo with our museum educator Ryan Jones and tour guide Brooke Jones.
